Gram Vikas — A Village Where the 3 Maa Thrive

Gram Vikas brings together Apni Maa, Gau Maa and Prakriti Maa. Apni Maa represents women’s empowerment through Self-Help Groups, skills and savings. Gau Maa connects compassionate cattle care with village enterprises using dung and other suitable resources. Prakriti Maa connects natural farming, native trees, water conservation and protection of birds, bees and other life.

Our aim is to establish a self-sustaining prototype in Jawhar / Mokhada by March 2028, creating dignified work within villages and giving young people a reason to stay. This prototype is intended to provide a blueprint capable of scaling across six lakh villages of Bharat, contributing to the Golden Sparrow 2047 vision. These are future goals, not completed impact.

Stronger Villages Start Within

Gram Vikas strengthens rural communities by connecting Gaushala care, natural resources, responsible farming and community participation, creating practical systems that can gradually support cleaner, healthier and more self reliant villages.

3

Caring Beyond The Gaushala

Gaushalas can become more than shelters. With responsible cattle care, cleanliness, water management, composting and community involvement, they can develop into meaningful centres supporting animals, agriculture and surrounding village communities.

2

Turning Waste Into Value

Cattle dung and organic material can become useful rural resources when managed responsibly. Gram Vikas encourages practical composting and suitable biogas solutions that support cleaner surroundings and better resource utilisation.

4

Supporting Healthier Rural Soil

Organic compost created from available cattle resources can contribute to responsible soil care. The initiative aims to connect Gaushalas and farming communities through practical methods that make local resources useful again.

5

Communities Growing Together

Sustainable village progress requires local participation. Farmers, youth, women’s groups, Gaushala workers and volunteers can become part of systems that strengthen environmental responsibility while creating opportunities for meaningful community involvement.

“When a village learns to value every resource around it, progress begins from within.”

Water and green cover are the foundations of rural survival. Our rainwater harvesting systems revive dying village groundwater tables and ancient ponds, ensuring year-round water security. Simultaneously, we plant native forests that prevent soil erosion, lower local temperatures, and provide micro-income opportunities for villagers through sustainable agroforestry.
We don’t just plant trees; we adopt them. We select native species that thrive locally, integrate them directly into our village clusters, and train local community members to nurture them. We monitor their growth and water needs for at least 3 years to guarantee an excellent survival rate.
Our sanctuaries (Gaushala and Avian Havens) provide a permanent, loving home for abandoned, aged, or non-milking cows, alongside medical rescue setups for injured birds. They receive strict veterinary attention, nutritious fodder, and chemical-free, safe habitats to thrive without cruelty

Updates

We will share recent updates and progress of this campaign here. Stay tuned for the latest developments and success stories.

They are the heartbeat of a thriving rural ecosystem. Abandoned cows (Gau Mata) provide the organic manure needed to restore degraded village soil. Birds and bees act as nature’s ultimate pollinators, ensuring our newly planted forests grow and local agricultural crops flourish. Protecting them directly guarantees village food security.
